Welcome. My name is Erich Lerch, and I am the founder and lead engineer behind levolta solutions GmbH.

Professional Career

2016 – 2024
maxon motor AG, Sachseln Project Manager Development specializing in Systems Engineering, Battery Systems, and Functional Safety. Managed the full spectrum of e-bike system development, from BMS for industrial applications to wireless connectivity (BLE/ANT) and international certifications (EMC/RED).
2000 – 2016
Flytec AG, Horw Project Manager Development focused on high-precision pressure sensing and microelectronics. Led outdoor device development from concept to mass production (including plastic injection molding and sourcing in Taiwan and Vietnam).
1989 – 2000
Tegimenta AG / Roche Diagnostics, Rotkreuz Electronics Development Group Lead. Specializing in robotics, motion control (Stepper, DC, EC motors), and in-house development of high-voltage power stages for medical diagnostics.
1987 – 1989
ESEC AG, Cham Engineering & Electronics Development. Design of coreless DC motors and linear motor systems for the semiconductor industry (Die Bonders).
